Just so you all know

This is in response to an issue between me and Talongrasp regarding a difference of interests, but it applies to everyone.

So, we all know that we all have our own likes and dislikes. We also know there are people who hold their likes and dislikes a little too high and get touchy when others do not share the same opinion. Maybe I am one of them. Maybe some of you are, too.
While I respect that each person has their own interests, I do not appreciate when you get snippy with me just because I do not have the same interests. As I am sure most people feel.

In this particular instance, I said I did not like anything to do with Sonic the Hedgehog. So what? That does not instantly make me a better or worse person than I was five minutes before I said it.

So, the long story short is that I will withhold my judgements of your likes and dislikes as long as you do the same regarding my own; the moment you start judging me, I take off the gloves.

I am a nice guy, but lately there have been so many things that just tick me off going on all over the place. I try to be kind and forgiving when people offend me, but I can only accommodate so much.
So, if you play nice, I will play nice, and we can be friendly (or even actually be friends). If you have to be a jerk about something, though, I will distance myself from you, and it may lead to me never wanting to speak to you again. _{Like a certain someone and her lesbian girlfriend}
